Just above the village Puntagorda and surrounded by nature stands Casa Carmen.
It is an original Canarian style house which the owners have tastefully renovated and converted to a holiday home with modern comforts.

Casa Carmen is a cosy holiday home with excellent views over the hillside, the village, up to the mountains and down to the Atlantic Ocean

Casa Carmen sleeps up to 2 persons.
Together with Casa Pedro it is suitable up to 5 persons.

Accommodation
Casa Carmen has a living room with open kitchen, 1 bedroom and a bathroom.
In front of the house is a covered and sheltered terrace, next to the house (South) a second terrace and there is an outside kitchen with barbeque.
 
In the living room you'll find a comfortable sofa and a coffee table. The door opens onto the terrace.
There is satelite TV/Radio.
 
Bedroom and bathroom
In the bedroom of Casa Carmen you'll find two single beds (90x200) with good matrasses.

In the bathroom you'll find a shower, wash basin and WC.

 
Terrace and barbeque
In front of the house is a covered and sheltered terrace with tables and chairs and sunbeds and next to the house (South) a sunny terrace.
The kitchen outside with barbeque can be used by the guests of Casa Carmen and Casa Pedro.
 
Area
From the airport to Puntagorda is about 1,5 hours drive.
The friendly village of Puntagorda is about 5 minutes drive. You'll find various shops, a dispensing chemist, butcher, banks with cash dispensers, a post office, 3 restaurants, typical local bars, internetcafé, public swimming pool and on Saturdays and Sundays there is a market in the Mercadillo selling local produce.
In January the almond trees start flowering in Puntagorda. Every year, at the end of January or beginning of February, Puntagorda celebrates the Festival of the Flowering Almond.
In the summer months you can go to El Puerto for a swimm in the ocean.
Puntagorda also has nature reserve El Fayal, a pine forest with barbecue and picnic area and childrens playground.
The area is crisscrossed with marked walking-paths.
From the house it is about 45 minutes drive to the town of Los Llanos with the famous Plaza de España and the beautiful streets and houses. The sandy beach and harbour in Tazacorte is a ±30 minutes drive.
